Typical Switches only offer Positively Driven Contacts in the Normally Closed Position, when the actuator is in the home position. These switches have positively driven contacts in both the home and extended positions.	Positively Driven Symbol Positively Driven or Positively Breaking Force Guided Contacts are designed to insure that the Normally Closed contacts open when the switch changes state. This is accomplished by mechanically linking the contacts to the armiture which carries the force from the switch actuator action directly to the contacts.
